General Regulations

  • When the teacher enters the class room, the students must rise, remain standing till they are directed to sit, or till the teacher takes his seat. When the attendance roll is called, each one must rise and answer his/her roll call.
  • Mobile, Alcohol and Electronic sound systems are prohibited in the college campus.
  • Students who are absent from classes continuously for one month or more without obtaining the permission of the Principal in writing, will be considered to have left the college.
  • Every student must have the prescribed textbooks, laboratory records, dissecting instruments etc.,
  • Tests are held periodically in every subject. A report of the examination will be sent to parents or guardians. The report must be returned duly signed to the Principal.
  • Students who are not permitted for the University Examination will not generally be re-admitted to the college.
  • Students should maintain a sense of decorum and discipline at all times, both inside and outside the college. Those who are guilty of serious misconduct or whose presence in the college is detrimental to the order and discipline on the campus are liable to be expelled. Code of conduct on the campus includes safeguarding the college property, keeping the place clean and tidy and dressing up decently. Boys are expected to be in full pants and clean shirts. T-shirts are not allowed. Girls are expected to dress decently. Sleeveless clothes and tight pants and shirts are not allowed.
  • Students are expected to be seated in their respective classrooms at the stroke of the 1st bell and wait for the teacher. Action will be taken against students found loitering about in the corridors and making noise. Free periods are not meant for any games (indoor or outdoor), loitering around or sitting in or around the canteen. Students are requested to make use of the library during free periods.
  • Congregating on the road in front of the college or at the entrance of the college creates a bad impression on the passers-by and therefore, it is to be avoided.
  • Students are expected not to sit on the steps of the staircase or on the steps of the portico of the college.
  • There shall be no movement of students in the corridors of the college buildings during lecture hours.
  • Movement of vehicles in the College campus shall be with a moderate speed.
  • Students can park their four-wheelers/motor bikes/ cycles inside the college campus only on payment of the prescribed fee.
  • It is absolutely forbidden to posses, carry, consume items like pan parag, pan, gutka, tobacco, cigarettes, biri, any kind of alcoholic drinks, etc.
  • Throwing about waste paper, defacing the walls and committing nuisance on the college grounds are punishable offences.
  • Students must not join any club or society or make any engagement that would interfere with their studies without the prior permission of the Principal. They are not allowed to play in any team against the college.
  • Students must possess their identity card, whenever they come to the college and show it to the persons concerned whenever asked for. If the identity card is lost it will be reissued only on payment of Rs.50/-.
  • Only students who are on the rolls of the college and their parents/local Guardians shall enter the college campus. Outsiders are not allowed to enter the college campus.
  • Personal/group entertainment items like Radios, Taperecorders, CD-players, walkman, etc are not allowed in the college.
  • Students are expected to keep their mobile off in the classrooms, library and reading room.
  • Each student has to enroll himself/ herself in any of the following associations of the college namely, Village Development Society, Science Club, Sports and Games Club, Interreligious Forum, N.S.S., AICUF, Ecofriends, Women’s Cell, etc.
  • Students can speak both English and Hindi language in the campus but emphasis should be given on English.
  • Regional languages will be encouraged on socio-cultural occasions.
  • Use of abusive and indecent language in the campus is forbidden.
  • For better academic and formative reasons mixing of college and school students is not permissible.
  • The college will not be liable for any loss of property/valuables of students left in the college premises.
